Summer – 2005
Supported by an International Development Grant from IUPUI, Charity Nofziger, Aaron West and Bonnie Blazer-Yost spent one month doing collaborative research at Magna Graecia University in Catanzaro, Italy and one month doing collaborative research in the Physiology Institute, Tubingen University, Germany.
These collaborative interactions have lead to the formation of an on-going, multi-University consortium to study the role of the enzyme serum, glucocorticoid-induced kinase in health and disease.  IUPUI and Magna Graecia University have also signed a formal agreement to facilitate international exchanges between students and faculty from both universities.
