Freshman Work Program
Sponsered by "Commitment to Excellence" Program
- The grant offers a job to any new full-time majors who want
to work in thier department. This program is an attempt to help
students who want to work but who don't want to have the inconvienience
of working off campus.
- The jobs are for 10 hours maximum a week at $9.00 per hour.
We request that you have no additional job. (We want you to
do well in your academic studies and we feel that more than
10 hours per week of work is detrimental to that goal).
- The hours are flexible and can be worked around your class
schedule.
- In order to be accepted for one of the jobs, you must submit
a financial aid form (FAFSA) to IUPUI. You do not need to qualify
for FAFSA in order to be accepted, but you must have filled
out the needed paperwork to be hired for any University position.
- The jobs will be assigned the week before classes begin in
the Fall.
