  1. NSF Robert Noyce Teach Science Scholarships: Learning to Teach/Teaching to Learn (LT/TL)programUp to $12,200 / year for 2 years for undergraduate Junior and Seniors who are interested in completing a BA in Science with student teaching and teacher licensure completed at the time of graduation to become a high school or middle school science teacher . (February 7 and September 7 deadline, must complete the Praxis I exam before application) Noyce Scholar treachers must commit to teaching in a high need school district for 2 years per year of scholarship accepted.

  2. IUPUI Math and Science Education Scholarships (MSES) ($2,500/year, March 15 deadline) - For Sophomores/ Juniors interested in exploring a career in secondary science or mathematics teaching - high school or middle school.

  3. NSF Robert Noyce Urban Educators Scholarship: $9000 scholarship for students with a BA/ BS degree in Science or Mathematiw who enter IUPUI's T2T Program (post-baccalaureate), a 1-year program that provides 18 hours of graduate credit, student teaching, and and teacher licensure
  4. Woodrow Wilson Indiana Teacher Fellowships: This prestigious NEW award offers a $30,000 to qualified STEM graduates (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) who complete a 1-year Master's degree in the School of Education. The first applicants will be selected for the 2009-2010 school (visit the WWITF link for more information).


  5. The NSF Graduate GK-12 Program pairs an IUPUI research graduate student with a local high school or middle teacher to spend 10 hours per week in the classroom working with grades 6-12. Contact Dr. Marrs for more information (kmarrs@iupui.edu)
