Graduate FAQs:

Q: When will I hear a decision?

A: It can take 2-6 weeks to hear a decision. The committee calls meetings at random when there are several applications ready to be reviewed. It will depend on the application flow and the schedule of the committee.

Q: Can I submit my application before my transcripts, GRE scores, or letters of recommendation arrive?

A: Yes.

Q: Can I send my transcripts, GRE scores, and letters of recommendation before I submit the online application?

A: Yes, we hold all documents for 1 year. Once you submit the online application, we check the documents to see if you have anything already on file.

Q: Do I need to have GRE scores by the application deadline?

A: Yes, you need to have taken the GRE by the deadline. It will take 2-3 weeks for an official paper printout. However, you will see your verbal and quantitative scores immediately after the test. You can call/email with the scores and we can make an unofficial note in your file. Your file will be considered complete and can be reviewed by the committee with "unofficial" GRE scores.

Q: Can I have my letters of recommendation sent from my university (committee packets)?

A: Yes, we will accept committee packets sent directly from a university.

Q: Can I substitute my MCAT scores for the GRE?
Q: Can I substitute my DAT scores for the GRE?

A: NO, the GRE is required and cannot be substituted with any other scores.

Q: What courses will I take?

A: There is not a set curriculum. Each student is advised according to their undergraduate background.
